The Scale

A guide on how to read the scale.
Food
Taste, Quality, Quantity.
(based on those three only, not taking into account value. see below)
1 - 4 - Way below my expectations.
5 - 6 - Just enough to keep me satisfied, but could've been better.
7 - 8 - Enough to keep me relatively happy.
9 - 10 - Made me really happy.
Coffee
Taste, Milk, Ratio.
(mostly execution of milk frothing and bitterness level of my soy lattés)
1 - 4 - Completely unimpressive.
5 - 6 - Average and drinkable.
7 - 8 - Enough to satisfy the palette.
9 -10 - Blew my mind - Amazing milk & coffee taste.
Ambience
Noise Level, Space, Comfort, Surroundings.
(with time appropriate crowds taken into account)
1 - 4 - Noisy and barely any elbow and leg space.
5 - 6 - A little noisier and/or more cramped up than I would've liked.
7 - 8 - About the general buzz that any café would have at that time.
9 - 10 - Comfortable, with a polite crowd to go with the polite noise level.
Value
Portion and/or Quality-to-Price-and-Effort.
(to gauge if the portion and quality of the food and service was worth the price, wait and/or journey)
1 - 4 - not worth the price
5 - 6 - average value for your money
7 - 8 - good value for your money
9 - 10 - great value for your money
Staff
Friendliness & Table service
(based on front-of-house and/or the staff who served us, not how fast the food came etc)
1 - 4 - Rude, unhelpful, unfriendly, condescending staff.
5 - 6 - Decent, just doing his/her job.
7 - 8 - Friendly, helpful, good service.
9 - 10 - Extremely friendly, prompt with service.
